At Green Acres Tree Farm we currently have approximately 40,000 evergreens in nursery production, located at four farm locations across the state of Michigan. Species include: Norway Spruce 6’-30’ Colorado Spruce 6’- 24’ Black Hills Spruce 6’-18’ White Pine 14’- 18’ White Spruce 10’-14’ Hemlock 5’-9’ MORE INFO	We have a professional staff on location to assist in the selection and tagging process. Our services include “just in time” availability throughout most of the growing season. All tree orders are specifically tagged and dug fresh in season, except during mid May through the end of June. CLICK HERE FOR A TOUR.	This month at Green Acres we made a “monumental leap” into capably digging 100″ ball size for trunk calipers over 10″. We now offer B&B, upon request, for those trees larger than 10″ caliper! In the summer we pre-water with at least 100 gallons of water for smoother digging and then let the ball sit on top of the ground for 24 hours to allow for the clay loam soil to become very firm before shipping.
